G&S Protection Group was co-founded by Emanuel Smith in the “roots” of his home state and city, New Orleans Louisiana. Mr. Smith has always held a footprint in public affairs and discovered his passion to protect people in 2003 when he began his career in Law Enforcement. Mr. Smith’s background encompasses several years of Human Resources and law enforcement with a focus on serving the public and building long-lasting relationships with clients and employees. Mr. Smith brings 18 years of Law Enforcement experience, 11 years of Security experience, and 7 years of HR Management experience to the company. Mr. Smith is a State of Louisiana Security Board of Private Examiners certified Qualifying Agent, State of Louisiana Security Board of Private Examiners certified security trainer, Louisiana POST certified conflict resolution specialist, and field training officer. Mr. Smith’s qualifications include Criminal Justice.

Mr. Gorodistian is a former special agent in the Israeli Secret Service with over 26 years of experience in managing security operations for various consulates, embassies, and commercial buildings around the world. In his line of duty, he provided detail security to government officials, implemented security procedures for government buildings, coordinated and executed highly targeted special events, and liaised with the local protective services. Sam Currently Manage his own private security company with national operation in 6 states in the USA . Mr. Gorodistian is a graduate of the Israel Security Agency and was an officer and Group Commander in the Israel Defense Force.

Gary Poynor is G&S client relation manager with over 45 years managerial experience with 15 of those years in the security industry. He has been responsible for over 10 million in assets as Regional Manager for SSC as well operations manager with a staff of 400 employees. Gary was Senior Manager for a Prominent Property Management Company for 7 years, responsible for 700 million in assets.

Todd Croal is the director of marketing at G&S Protection Group responsible for maintaining customer relationships and developing new business. Todd is also a deputy with the Jefferson Parish Constable’s Office and has completed the Law Enforcement Active Shooter and Emergency Response training course. He is certified with The National Center for Biomedical Research and Training in Counter Terrorists Education.
Todd attended the University of New Orleans where he received a BA in marketing.
After graduation, Todd launched his career with Eagle Distributors, LLC in Kenner, Louisiana as a surveillance video consultant, designing video surveillance systems for commercial applications. Later in his career he was a security consultant for Sonitrol Security of Louisiana and a business development manager for Vinson Guard Service in New Orleans.
Todd’s goal is to provide clients with quality guard service with a focus on customer service and customer communication.
